Sorry, this article is no longer available.
When others appreciate JN, maybe you should learn to know why they are doing so? When others don’t have a problem to see JN as their hero, it should not be taken up as your pain. Why unnecessarily take up others’ view as your pain?
The Tibetan Democracy is being checked and balanced by Jamyang Norbu alone. Perhaps Jamyang Norbu’s role seems to be that of China’s Lu Hsun in the early 20th Century. Where have gone the roles of the Tibetan Members of Parliament for silencing too long?
It is not appropriate for a democratic society like ours, that people don’t have tolerance for others’ political vieww. Whether it is for Middle Way or for Independence, both are not exact as much as they are not fluid. It is just a product of ideology, it is fluid by nature and unfixed. So our exile political discourse should have a mutual accommodation and respect, and let it enable our Main National Goal to thrive.
How did JN and his family get a multi-million dollar estate? Tibetans were dirt poor whenthey first arrived as exiles, Dawa Norbu clearly mentioned how their former masters despised him and his kind of poor pathetic Tibetans. This is a case in point of misappropriation of public funds and carrying them into exile on donkeys by former aristocrats and their cronies while the poor peasants fought. Now Wangchuk is claiming JN is the true son of without knowing where his multi-million dollar estate came from? Was Dorjee Ling part of Tibet? Was JN’ ancestors are lord of Dorjee Ling? If not, this is very fishy!
Instead of pointing our fingers at each other, let us study and write more tangible articles, and shake the PRC or at least respond to those liars that PRC separates.
Besides, please think before you write anything, and check whether it will bring more harm or benefit.
May truth prevail.
