Gyari Dolma, the Kalon (minister) for Home of the Central Tibetan Administration said that she is not planning to resign, clarifying a rumour being spread that all the ministers of Sikyong Lobsang Sangay’s Kashag are planning to resign.
“I have been receiving calls from various places about a rumour that led by me, all the ministers will resign one after another. There is no truth in that.”
She said that the rumour is being spread following the sudden resignation of kalon Dicki Chhoyang on Sunday.
“To be able to serve as the Kalon for Home in Sikyong Lobsang Sangay’s Kashag is the most honourable and valuable experience of my life,” Dolma said.
“I will complete the office term.”
In the run-up to the 20 March polling to elect a new Sikyong, the exile Tibetan community is rife with rumours and speculations. Incumbent Sangay and Speaker Penpa Tsering are the two competing for the post.
Gyari Dolma’s politics is clear. She is supporting Lobsang Sangay for Sikyong, not necessarily because of he is great and all that. She wants to see him win so that she could stand for Sikyong in 2021 without any hindrance. If Penpa Tsering wins, she will have less chance as then people will say they want to give Penpa a second chance. And then her chance will be pushed by another five years.
If Sangay wins, Gyari Dolma will not be in his Kashag. That’s because she wants to run for Sikyong 2021. And by then she will have full chance to win.
Kalon Gyari Dolmala has with one brief interview cleared her name and position; subsequently exposing the rumour-mongering industry of our community. Such bogus information has been floating around for the past years; some pitting her against current sikyong and ex-kalon Dickiela.
Dickiela is said to have resigned for the greater good. She too could have been disgusted with the toxicity of all this and wants to speak out. I could be totally wrong. Have to wait this out.

Very good news am waiting for. As there is rumor in Gangkyi that Madam Gyari is also ready to put up her resignation which prick us immense at this last minute period of our Sangey. Madam Drildrak Kalon way of her doing is not good and has left different views. It makes very happy and hopefully we are expecting you as next Sikyong.
