The members of the Tibetan Parliament-in-exile spent the first day of its 10th and final session discussing the current situation in Tibet, where 142 Tibetans have set themselves on fire in the last few years protesting Chinese rule.
The members criticised the Chinese “White papers” that said “Tibet has established the new socialist system and achieved historic leaps and bounds in its economic and social development.”
“Tibet is now in its golden age,” the paper said.
Member Karma Choephel said that the Chinese “White paper” is a “White lie”, trying to fool the Chinese people and the world.
He said that the Chinese authorities know that they are lying and that history will curse the current leaders as liars.
The Parliament also passed a resolution expressing solidarity with the Tibetans in Tibet in their critical situation, and offered prayers to those who have died in fiery protests against the Chinese rule.
The current last session, ending on the 25th, will present various reports on the functioning of the Kashag. Tibetans in exile will go to polls to elect a new Sikyong (Prime Minister) and the new 16th house in two rounds of elections on 18 October and 20 March 2016.
The communist regime has left no stone unturned in exploiting Tibet and its people. The so-called golden age is just a plethora of their deceitful manner which they have perfected over the last few decades.
In times gone by people no longer can remain foolish and uninformed as they expect them to do so.
Chinese leaders are used to lying and this is what they do best in life to remain in power. They are also understand the consequences of loosing power which they have abused for over a half century.
The Chinese white papers on Tibet is only a part of their game to deceive world and there is hardly any sensible person who will believe such rubbish.
The fruits of so called Tibet’s golden age is reaped by the members of Chinese communist party and their associates.
