Mahesh Yadav, a Gandhian and peace activist, had drawn a portrait of Buddha with his own blood to support for the “Free Tibet” movement.

Yadav, who calls himself “Aman Gandhi”, drew the portrait on the eve of Buddha’s birth anniversary in Bhopal in the presence of his associates: Ms Bhaya Sharma, Ajay Jain, Ms Ekta Sharma, Abhishek Sharma, Raman Bhagat, Ram Swaroop Meena and Siddharth Bhatia.

Addressing the media, Yadav said that it has been more then fifty years since the Chinese occupation of Tibet and that the world has been silent over the issue of Tibet, which is proving to be dangerous not only for Tibetans but also for entire world.

He said China must be immediately expelled from the permanent membership of UN Security Council with declaring her a ‘terrorist country’ as it is spreading violence and terrorism.

“There seems to be no difference between Taliban and China,” he said.

He appealed the UN and the world leaders to protect and tutelage justice, democracy and peace, and that Tibet must immediately be freed from the clutches of China.

“Inevitable as it is, if we all want to save humanity, peace, brotherhood, non-violence and the environment, we should all come together immediately and make Tibet free from the evil clutches of China by vehemently supporting the Dalai Lama’s Gandhian way of non-violent freedom struggle for Tibet’s cause.

I appeal you all to come up strongly in support of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Gandhian way of non-violent freedom struggle, otherwise people will always blindly turn to a destructive way of struggle,” he appealed.

Mahesh Yadav further said that “it is well known to the world that China is fueling and backing Pakistan and many terrorist organisations with destructive weapons and finance. Moreover, it is due to China today that Pakistan is well equipped with deadly nuclear weapons, which can at any time come in the hands of these terrorist organisations and the earth can experience destruction.”

“Not only we but also the entire world knows that China is killer of Tibetans, freedom, human rights, democracy, international law, world peace, and environment, and the kidnapper of the Panchen Lama,” he added.

Yadav has been drawing portraits of different personalities with his own blood incessantly for the last 14 years in what he calls “Blood Movement for a Free Tibet”.
