The parliament has decided to build a stone pillar in memory of all those Tibetans who have sacrificed their lives for Tibet. The decision was taken in March 2009, and the pillar will be build in Dharamshala, India.File photo/Tibet Sun/Lobsang Wangyal/India A stone pillar in memory of all those Tibetans who have sacrificed their lives for Tibet will be build in Dharamshala, reports tibet.net, the website of the Tibetan government-in-exile. Dharamshala was chosen as the location for the pillar when the Tibetan parliament-in-exile took the decision to build the memorial pillar in March this year. A parliamentary committee has been formed to supervise the project. The committee announced that Tibetans can submit designs of the pillar. The best design selected will be given a cash prize of 5,000 Indian rupees, and the designer will be credited by inscribing her or his name on the pillar.
